So I asked Peter if I could be a contributor to the blog. He didn't have a problem with it and ran it by Andrew, who also didn't have any qualms either. Andrew was nice enough to add me rather quickly. So I owe both of those guys a thanks.
For my first post I wanted to relay a story I already let Andrew and Peter know about over gmail. My AmeriCorps year in a DC elementary school is wrapping up and I was hoping to leave a lasting positive impact on the lives of some children I work with. There were two children discussing the benefits of a world without money. Luckily I was there to quickly intervene and stop possible Communist sentiment. I asked them if they liked their x-boxes. They responded that they did. I told them that if there was a world without money there would be no x-boxes. They asked why and I explained to them that the entire world is motivated by money. If someone wasn't getting paid to make one then no one would do it. It took some more convincing but I was able to get both of them believe in capitalism once again and the world is safe again from the Reds. Your welcome.
